Anika Noni Rose (born September 6, 1972) is an American singer and actress. She is best known for her Tony Award-winning role in the Broadway production of Caroline, or Change. She is also known for her starring roles in the movies Dreamgirls (2006), The Princess and the Frog (2009), and For Colored Girls (2010).[1]
Rose was born in Bloomfield, Connecticut.[2]
